I am excited to make my first blog entry, and who else should it be about than my beautiful girl, Hannah. This child is amazing. She truly loves life and takes it in so fully. It is amazing to watch her basking in the joy of a new experience (picky eating excluded).
A perfect example of this...
In May, while Shayne was back in Texas, some friends took Hannah and I out for a ride in their new boat. With the exception of sitting in the car on a short ferry, this was Hannah's first time on a boat. She was so excited while playing in the boat in their driveway and could hardly wait to get to the lake. Once we had launched the boat, she was the first one in. She exclaimed with sheer joy, "I'M IN A BOAT! ON THE WATER!!" It was amazing to watch her find such excitement over a simple pleasure. I knew immediately that it was a moment to be absorbed and cherished.
