Hannah started second grade yesterday, so I thought I would post a few pictures from her big day. She was so excited about this day that she had quite a bit of trouble getting to sleep the night before.
The requisite leaving the house pictures. (That's a 2 for second grade, not a peace sign. I had to ask to be sure.)
We went out to breakfast before school.
On Monday, I took Hannah for her first manicure. The lady hand-painted these cute little flowers for her.

Hannah's talking to her new teacher about her England bear from Aunt Micah and Uncle Jeremy who resides on her backpack.
Hannah is reading the sweetest welcome note from her teacher, Miss Nickels. She told each of the kids how she had been praying for them this summer and that she knew God had placed each of them in this class at this time for a very special reason.
Time for Mom to leave...class is starting.
